How far can you run in 6 hours!? Find your answer at ALOT's annual 6 hour race.
In 2025 the race will be Saturday October 25.
– If the challenge is too big, you can also "settle" for our 1 or 3 hour race or what about a half or a whole marathon? You also have the option of forming a relay team the 6 hour run - with a max of 6 runners on the team.
In 2025 you can participate in the 6 hour race – both individual and as a relay team, half or a whole marathon and 1 or 3 hour race - all the hour races have the same finish time.
The race holds the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) Bronze label. The rules for the bronze label are clear:
It is possible to participate outside the bronze label, but by doing so, you forfeit the right to podium placement, though you are allowed to run with music in your ears. The difference between runners will be marked on their bib numbers.
Since its "birth" in 2009, the 6-hour race in Albertslund has developed into a running event where Danish and international runners come back year after year. Participants appriciates that the race is well-organized and takes place in scenic surroundings, where every 2.2 km. you pass the festive finish area with lots of partying, music and support.
In the finish area is also one of Denmark's best refreshments zones offering everything from candy and chocolate to fruit, cinnamon rolls, salt tablets and of course liquids.
The ALOT 6-hour race will be held the last Saturday in October, in 2025 it will be October 25. The distribution of starting numbers/chips will take place from one and a half hours before the race start and up to 30 minutes before, where there will also be the possibility of late registration, if the race is not sold out.
6-hour individual - start at 9:00
3 hour individual – start at 12:00
1 hour individual – start at 14:00
Marathon – start at 9:00
Half Marathon – start at 9:00
6 hour relay team – start at 9:00
Start number:
You must place your start number on the front of your running shirt or on the outside of your clothing, the start number is equipped with a chip that records your time.
Avoid placing your start number on its side, turn it vertically and do not fold or bend it, as this may cause your time not to be recorded.
The route is 2.221 km. route around Tueholm lake, located in Albertslund south. The route is DAF measured.
ALOT has been awarded the IAU's Bronze Label for the 100 and 50 km distances.
The route is free of traffic, and can be described as relatively flat, which makes it fast. The surface consists of asphalt.
All distances run on the same circular route.
The route is clearly marked and it is almost impossible not to find your way.
After 6 hours (also the finish time for the 1- and 3-hour race) when the horn sound, the runners will stop where they are. Members of the crew will come and mark the spot and will be messared by the official DAF representative.
We have a well-stocked refreshement zone where you can get water, energy drink, saltsticks and a variation of goodies throughout the race. The refreshment zone is located at the start/finish line on the route (every 2221 m).
You will find tables in the refreshment zone where you can place your own refreshments.
There is electronic timing with a chip, it is not possible to use your own chip. The results list will be published on our website as soon as possible after the race.

There will be a medal for all finishers and a nice blanket with ALOT 6 Hour Run logo as well as 'lagkage' (cake) and hot chocolate.
There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for ladies and gentlemen on the 6 Hour Run and small prices for number 1, 2 and 3 in the other races as well. The celebration will take place when the difference races have finished. Remeber you have to run under the IAU bronze label to be able to get on the podium.

From highway 21, choose exit 3. Turn north onto Vallensbæk Torvevej and left onto Vallensbækvej. Continue straight onto Rendsagervej and turn left towards Vallensbæk Mose.
Arrival by public transport:
Get off Line B towards Høje Taastrup at Albertslund station and continue on foot (approx. 2.1 km, approx. 32 min.) south of Albertslundvej to Rendsagervej (on the right).
